Plaque FAQs

Who can be honored with a plaque?
Any U.S. veteran from any branch, living or deceased, who served honorably.
Do I need to submit a DD-214?
Yes — or other official proof of honorable service. We’ll guide you after checkout.
Can I choose the location of the plaque?
Plaques are placed chronologically by order date, based on space availability.
How long does it take to complete?
Once all documents and approvals are received, installation typically takes 3–6 months.
Will I see the design before it’s installed?
Yes. You’ll receive a digital proof to review and approve before engraving.
Can I schedule a dedication ceremony?
Yes! We offer optional dedication ceremonies and group unveiling dates.

Brick FAQs

How many characters can I include?
Up to 3 lines of text, with 16 characters max per line, including spaces.
Can I honor someone who isn't a veteran?
Yes — bricks are open to any tribute message (subject to approval).
Where will my brick be placed?
Bricks are installed along the walkways at Mt. Soledad as space allows.
Can I order more than one brick?
Absolutely. Many families honor multiple loved ones.
Will I be notified once my brick is placed?
Yes — you'll receive confirmation when your tribute has been installed.

Event Planning FAQs

Can I host a private event at the Memorial?
Yes. We welcome private, civic, and corporate gatherings on our event lawn.
What kinds of events are allowed?
Ceremonies, memorials, leadership retreats, veteran family events, spiritual gatherings, and more.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend reaching out 2–3 months in advance to reserve your date.
Is the space ADA accessible?
Yes, including parking, restrooms, and path access.
What resources are included?
Space access only. All event logistics (chairs, audio, permits, etc.) are coordinated by your team or a partner vendor.
How do I start the planning process?
Just contact our event team to schedule a consultation.
